Voter registration

If you reside in or own property in Guelph, are a Canadian citizen and 18 years of age, you can vote in the upcoming municipal and school board election.

You can use the voter registration portal to:

  • Check if you’re on the voters’ list.
  • Add yourself to the voters’ list.
  • Update your address.
  • Update your school support.

This site is owned and managed by the City of Guelph using a third party tool provided by DataFix.

Your information is being collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, the Municipal Elections Act, the Assessment Act and in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Voter information you provide will be used by the City of Guelph for the purpose of verifying and updating the municipal voters’ list and will be shared with candidates for the offices you are able to vote for. Your information may be shared with the City Clerk’s Office at the City of Brampton, the City of London or the Township of Puslinch as they are the returning office for some of the contests you may be eligible to vote for. Your information will also be shared with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) for election and property assessment purposes.
